Nuspire Networks (www.nuspire.com) announced today it has been officially accepted into the UN Global Compact. The UN Global Compact is a strategic policy initiative for businesses that are committed to aligning their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labor, environment and anti-corruption. This ever-increasing understanding is reflected in the Global Compact’s rapid growth. With over 8700 corporate participants and other stakeholders from over 130 countries, it is the largest voluntary corporate responsibility initiative in the world.
“Nuspire’s growth on a global scale has been tremendous over the last few years. Many of the recent analyst reports forecast continued double digit growth in the Managed Security Services sector outside of the United States for the next 5 years. “ said Jon May Nuspire Project Manager. “Being an industry leader entails taking extra measures to ensure compliance and social responsibility abroad. Nuspire felt participation in the UN Global Compact would help accomplish both goals.”
Managing and securing operations of some of the world’s largest companies with the most complicated and challenging network topologies have been Nuspire’s core business. Currently, Nuspire has an ever-growing global customer base in 82 countries, monitoring more than 80 million security events per day. Nuspire also is an internationally certified security auditor for the Payment Card Industry (PCI).
Nuspire Networks recently announced a new partnership with Panama based Grupo Sonitel S.A (press release). This partnership, two years in the making, combines Nuspire’s state-of- the-science network management, monitoring, and security services with Sonitel’s industry leading customer service and support. These services will culminate to provide a unique offering to organizations in Central and South America. Nuspire’s global reach and Sonitel’s local reaction will provide Latin American customers with a solution set not seen in the market today.
