The Opportunity:

The Inside Sales Consultant needs to have a hunter mentality, be independent and highly self-motivated with a willingness to learn.  Able to develop his or her relationships with our current customers by selling our services at the franchise level. The candidate should have a strong interest in sales and excellent communication skills. Other key qualities include highly developed interpersonal skills, character and a sense of humor.  An interest in technology or the technical industry itself is also helpful.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with several of our Franchise clients to solution our managed security solutions, strongly emphasizing network security and compliance. 
  • Work with a variety of customers and vendors (some technical, some non-technical) throughout this process. 
  • Responsible for growing market share through the channel. 
  • Participate in marketing initiatives for the inside channel.
  • Manage Relationships with Channel Partners.
  • Increase sales and average order size by working with the client to determine their specific business needs.
  • Have a complete understanding of existing clients processes in order to recommend additional services and products.
  • Follow up on requests for information and leads from email, phone calls, web chat, community and other sources.
  • Make outbound calls on warm leads.
  • Make follow up calls to new clients to ensure satisfaction and encourage conversion.
  • Working closely with team members, engineering, logistics, etc.in order to increase your knowledge of services, with the goal of increasing sales and improving processes.
  • Ensure all client requests/orders are followed up on in a timely and professional manner.
  • Successful Channel Sales Consultant will proactively educate themselves in company services while staying up to date on industry news and events.
  • May be expected to perform other duties as assigned by manager.

  • Self-starter who is ready, willing and able to own and prioritize multiple tasks 
  • Team player that contributes to a healthy and cohesive environment 
  • Comfortable conducting outbound call campaigns with warm sales; 50+ calls per day 
  • Ability to create and work with marketing campaigns for desired success.

Qualifications:

  • Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage a fast-paced work environment 
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills 
  • Strong project management skills
  • Demonstrated aptitude for understanding customer needs and managing customer relationships 
  • Strong level of comfort learning new technology (We ARE a technology company after all). 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Personable and able to build harmonious working relationships with partners and colleagues 
  • Must be flexible and able to adapt to changes quickly
